Amsterdam Diaries

When I was about 7, I first visited Amsterdam. All I really remember is the canal boat tour. I have been wanting to go back for a couple of years now, especially in Spring to see the tulips. This year in April, I finally made it happen. It became a mother-sister-niece trip and I loved it.

In July, I was invited to a workshop about human trafficking. You gotta love it when work sends you to Amsterdam. Me and my coworker decided to stay 2 extra days. As  I had seen most of Amsterdam, in July I decided to visit some of the towns just outside of Amsterdam: Edam, Volendam, Marken and Zaanse Schans.

I finally sorted out all the pictures and made my photo-book. A couple of “Amsterdam Diaries” posts will follow in the coming days. Let’s start with the bridges.
