So I am having one of those weeks where I should have never left my bed. It started with Monday where I overslept royally. I opened my eyes and it was 9h00. Normally I should be at work at 9h00. This has never happened to me. I first panicked for about 5 minutes then I got it together and took a 1 minute shower. I did arrive on time for my interview with a Luxembourgish Newspaper. Thank god.
The whole week stupid little things have been going wrong and most people are going on my nerve. Human relationships can be so tiring. And then the weather. I am glad summer is over, but his constant darkness and rain is not helping. All I want to do is sit at home, under a blanket and watch movies.
On Wednesday, Corrie from http://barefootinluxembourg.com/ asked me if I wanted to join her to the Vernissage of “Artistes Résidants” in Oberkorn. It was an event I was planning on going but because of the shitty week I actually didn’t want to go. But I couldn’t resist Corrie’s offer and so Wednesday turned out to be a very artsy day.
After work, and after a fabulous lunch with the sister, I finally managed to see the 3 different expositions organized for the Photomeetings 2015 event. I couldn’t go to any of the lectures this year, but I made sure to see the expositions. I am a fan of Edward Steichen and loved seeing some of his work:
And then, in the evening, as mention before, I went to the Espace H2O in Oberkorn.
I really liked Aïda Schweitzer’s work:
And of course, Feyrouz Ashoura’s unique style of art:
And here are some other clicks of the evening:
