I had actually never been to a Nuit Des Musées in Luxembourg before. I always kind of missed it. So this year I was determined to go. I had wonderful company and the night turned out to be pretty perfect.
As I like going to museums, I had seen most of the expositions, the one in Mudam even twice. Plus, there were so many people that even if I hadn’t seen them, I wouldn’t enjoy them during the night. I mainly went for the little “extras” like the planetarium in MHVL.
We started our night at around 20h00 with Casino. I like the concept of the current exposition: rich/poor, our society’s obsession with looks, the ideals of “beauty” and reality shows. It wasn’t “beautiful” like the previous exposition, which I loved. But it definitely made you think.
Then we went to MHVL, just in time as we got the last tickets for the planetarium-show, which was really interesting.
We then took the shuttle to Mudam, which is still my favorite museum. We saw a show where the guy produced different kinds of noises and lights with some sewing-machines The show was, let’s just say, interesting.
Lastly, we went to Villa Vauban, a museum I hadn’t been in a couple of years as it is one of my least favorite one.
