BXL Part 1

Last week, I went to Brussels for my  job. I love it when I get sent to my beloved ex-town. And at the same time, it makes me a bit sad. I saw some of my friends again and roomed through some of my favortie places. Every time I go back, I end up asking myself why I left.

As for the work part, it was exhausting. First there was a train-strike on the exact day that I had to travel. Then there were problems at the hotel.  And having 3 different conferences/panels in 2 days is kind of tiring. I still don’t feel very comfortable around all the black suited people and the political blabla. But it was  wonderful to reconnect my Finnish and French kind-of-coworkers  and have a fabulous dinner with them.
