Belval Adventures

Haut fourneau Belval has been on my list for a very long time. On Sunday, I finally made some time to drive there. I checked the timing before going and planned to go around 16h30 so I would get to see the sunset from above. Arriving there, I was disappointed to read that they were closed since 31.10 for the winter period. Fail! When I got home, I re-checked again on their site and it really wasn’t written anywhere that they close during the winter time. Oh well,  guess it will be on my list till next Spring.

I walked around and enjoyed the cold but calming weather. And the beautiful sunset.

Belval is such an interesting place. There is newness built around old things. Shiny new building and ruins, side by side. I love the urban touch and the old factories. It is kind of growing on me.

    • It really is an interesting place. I think in 5-10 years, it might become the Kirchberg of the south.
